    Nagi Yoshida

    90% of a photo is made by the subject: Yoshida appears in CP+

    A much-talked-about photographer who captures minor ethnic groups worldwide from her unique point of view and appears in many TV programs and other media. This special exhibition features her photos, episodes when she shot them and a talk show with her.

    A photographer born in 1986. She self-taught photography, and first went to Africa by herself in 2009. Since then, she has taken and published photographs of ethnic minorities in Africa all around the world. Thanks to her unique use of colors and her own intuitive way of living, she was selected as "The Most Influential People for Japan" by Nikkei Business, and "Pen Creator Awards" by PEN in 2017. In the same year, she won Photography Award of Kodansha Publishing Culture Award. Her selected works "HEROES" is scheduled to publish in April 2018.

    Tatsuya Tanaka

    MINIATURE LIFE: Joy of photography from the viewpoint of likening-

    Tanaka creates his unique world of miniatures with ordinary everyday items. His creations were featured in the film credits sequence of the NHK drama series "Hiyokko" in 2017. This event offers special sweets made in collaboration with InterContinental Yokohama Grand, and features a talk show with him.

    A miniature photographer and a creator of resembling something as something else, born in 1981. He develops photographs of his own ideas by regarding everyday stuff as something else from the viewpoint of miniature. His photos on "MINIATURE CALENDAR" gained a high reputation. He has engaged in many projects of ads, movies and illustrations. He produced the title sequence of NHK's Drama Series in 2017, "Hiyokko." His photobooks "MINIATURE LIFE", "MINIATURE LIFE2" and "Small Wonders" are in sale.

    Born in 1990, in Shizuoka Prefecture. She has her own Facebook page "The breathtaking sights in the world I want to see before I die" to introduce such sights and has more than 700,000 likes and it became hot topic. She has also published a series of books by the same name which have sold more than 600,000 copies.

    Ema Maeda, Model
    Born in 1992, in Kanagawa Prefecture. Graduated from Tokyo Zokei University. She also studied in the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, Austria, and since then, she has received attention from people with her activities in many different fields, such as modeling, essays, photography, painting, reading, and narration. She has participated in art festivals and fashion shows as a model and reader, and she has also held her own exhibitions. Currently, she is writing serialized essays in many magazines and websites on various fields, such as art and fashion.

    Started up his own business in 2015. He has captured and published various instant expressions of cats from his unique viewpoints, including books "Desperate Cats", "Ugly Cats", "Nekoxile" and "Gravity-free cats". He has more than 80,000 Instagram followers, and also appears in "Ohanyan", a short segment in NTV's news show "Oha!4 NEWS LIVE"

    Hirosuke Fukumoto, Editor & photographer
    Editor-in-chief and photographer of culture magazine "GOOD ROCKS!". After working as an editor for fashion magazines, he published the 1st issue of "GOOD ROCKS!" in 2006. He continues placing special importance on monochrome photography, and has met and shot more than 500 groups of artists, actors and models.

Nagi, traveling just out of curiosity and shooting around the world, writes about an episode that occurred while taking photos and her emotional changes. This exhibition also features her photos, including those being unveiled here, unpublished shots, and her essays.
